Security Risk and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance professional to support our organization's security risk management, auditing, and compliance efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security risk assessment, auditing, and compliance, with experience in conducting internal security assessments and reviews.
The successful applicant will participate in the development of security risk treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide regular risk and progress reporting to leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security risk analysis of business processes and technology solutions;
- Support the development of security risk treatment plans;
- Participate in internal security assessments and security reviews;
- Assist with maintenance of information security program documentation;
- Support annual security compliance audits;
- Support third-party/vendor security risk assessment process;
- Support sales process by participating in customer-initiated security due diligence and/or vendor qualification audits;
- Develop and implement technical solutions to automate or streamline repeatable security risk assessment, audit, customer questionnaire response activities and workflows;
Requirements:
- 14 years of demonstrable experience in security risk management, auditing and compliance;
- Good interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to learn quickly;
- Good understanding of industry standards for compliance;
- Basic understanding of risk assessment methodologies and best practices;
- Ability and willingness to produce and maintain documentation and reports;
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools;
- Excellent presentation and written communications skills.
