  • Develop cost-effective solutions for domestic and cross-border market sustainability.
  • Oversee tax governance alignment across engagement teams, IFS, and finance teams, ensuring accurate representation of adopted tax positions.
  • Manage relationships with tax consultants and IFS functions to ensure effective tax and regulatory compliance, minimizing litigation risks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and efficient audit completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor tax governing frameworks to prevent working capital lock-in and identify tax leakage opportunities.
  • Ensure timely execution of tax and regulatory compliance with accuracy and quality.
  • Own tax provision adequacy, tax accounts, and ensure adherence to adopted tax positions.
  • Conduct research to ensure effective representation of tax positions with detailed documentation within timelines.
  • Closure of audit points with complete and accurate submission of schedules and documents.
  • Respond to engagement consultations and safeguard engagement documents from tax and regulatory perspectives.
  • Apply controls in financials and tertiary applications and review regularly to ensure effective controls.
  • Maintain documentation for compliance and assessments, updating reporting applications timely.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, considering finance aspects.
  • Mitigate tax and regulatory risks on firm policies and business models.
  • Accurately report tax and regulatory exceptions and stay updated with changes in tax laws.
  • Review operations and business models, incorporating impact into policies and cost.
  • Maintain robust internal controls, preventing errors and fraud, ensuring tax and regulatory reporting integrity.
