Job Overview

This is a leadership role that requires strong UI/UX design expertise.

  • Lead and mentor a team of designers to foster a collaborative environment.

Design Strategy
  • Define and communicate the UI/UX design vision, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
  • Develop comprehensive design strategies balancing aesthetics, usability, and functionality.

 

Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to deliver design solutions.
  • Promote user-centered design across the organization.

 

User Research & Testing
  • Oversee user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.
  • Analyze user feedback and behavior to improve product design.

 

Design Systems
  • Develop a scalable design system for consistency across platforms and features.
  • Advocate for best practices in design and UI consistency.

 

Project Management
  • Manage design deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Balance priorities and adapt to changes.

 

Innovation & Trends
  • Stay current on design trends and emerging technologies.
  • Bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the design team.

 

Stakeholder Communication
  • Presentation of design concepts and prototypes.
  • Effective communication of design rationale and decision-making processes.

 

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects from concept to delivery.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing various design projects.
  • Deep knowledge of design tools and prototyping tools.
  • Expertise in wireframing, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct user research and analysis.
  • Experience with usability testing and data-driven design decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience working in agile teams.
  • Ability to partner with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
