Job Overview:

  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.

They should be proficient in Unity Catalog for centralized data governance, access control, and data lineage tracking.

The role involves working across scrum teams to develop data solutions that meet business requirements, ensure data governance, and support real-time and batch processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality database programming requirements in collaboration with scrum teams.
  • Create and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks by leveraging PySpark and SQL.
  • Design and implement Delta Lake tables with ACID transactions and schema evolution to support real-time and batch processing.
  • Implement Unity Catalog for centralized data governance, access control, and data lineage tracking.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in T-SQL programming, Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with Azure cloud tools are essential.
