Social Services Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Services Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Implementation and Management: Roll out projects in accordance with project plans, track quality delivery of detailed implementation plans (DIPs), collaborate with program lead and coordinator to secure project execution support, encourage innovation in project activities, address operational challenges, conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, foster community involvement and ownership, align project activities with community aspirations, and maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Develop Partnerships and Advocacy: Build relationships with stakeholders across private, government, academic, and NGO sectors, increase project and organizational visibility, identify opportunities to align stakeholder activities with project goals, represent the project at meetings and advocacy forums, participate in advocacy efforts to drive change, and collaborate with the technical team to design effective advocacy strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Rural Management, or Social Sciences with NGO experience.
  • 1+ years' experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Good understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.
  • Fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
