Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Product Development Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of new products and features that meet the needs of our customers in the logistics and transportation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products and features;
- Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for product development;
- Work closely with product managers to define product roadmaps and prioritize feature development;
- Analyzing customer data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
- Developing and maintaining product backlogs, user stories, and sprint grooming/planning activities;
- Ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall principles;
- Maintaining expertise on emerging trends and technological advancements in the industry;
- Cultivating strong relationships with multiple teams, including project management, testing, base product, customer IT, customer vendors, and customer business;
- Utilizing tools and methods such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, MPP, XML standards, SQL Developer;
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth;
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members;
- Participating in industrial forums, paper presentations, and other relevant events;
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Business Analysis/Business Consulting/Product Management roles;
- Previous experience in Logistics & Transportation/Supply Chain industry, with Oil and Gas domain knowledge being an added advantage;
- Ownership and participation in complete life cycles for multiple product development/implementation activities and sales presentations/demo/product roadmap discussions;
- Expertise in agile requirements management processes, including but not limited to product backlogs, user stories, sprint grooming/planning activities;
- Understanding of techniques involved in requirement prioritization (Value Driven/RICE), deriving inputs for UI/UX considerations, managing conflicting requirements, change management challenges, and MVP approach;
- Good understanding of overall Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams;
- Good exposure to tools and methods including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, MPP, XML standards, SQL Developer;
- Industrial standard certifications and attendance at industrial forums/paper presentations will be an added advantage;
