Sr. Cloud Engineer Job Description

As a Sr. Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure. You will work with AI product manager and data engineers to transform prototypes into production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure.
  • Cloud-Native Architecture: Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures for LLM-based products and services.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and updates.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with AI product manager, data engineers to transform prototypes into production.
  • MLOps/AI Ops: Implement best practices in MLOps/AI Ops for model versioning, monitoring, and automation.
  • Network Architecture: Develop & maintain network architecture, like VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, etc.
  • Infrastructure Provisioning and Management: Collect requirements, design service & resource configuration, and implement configuration for GCD and Azure resource/services.
  • Network Connectivity: Configure and manage VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and other network connectivity.
  • Security Measures: Implement and manage cloud-based firewalls, palo alto firewalls, load balancers, Meraki switches/access points, and other network security measures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring low latency and high availability.
Requirements:
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • DevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
  • Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, protocols, and architecture.
  • AI and ML Knowledge: Experience with AI and ML concepts, frameworks, and technologies.
