Lead Data Architect

We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to oversee the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines on AWS. This role is critical in driving business growth through data-driven decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable Data Pipelines
    Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Lambda.
  • Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Integration Solutions
    Implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using Spark, Glue, and SQL to meet business requirements.
  • Cloud Storage and Compute Environment Management
    Manage and optimize cloud storage and compute environments to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Automated Deployments and Collaborations
    Ensure robust, automated deployments with Terraform and Jenkins and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.

Requirements:

  • Strong Programming Skills in Python and/or Scala
  • Hands-on Experience with Apache Spark for Big Data Processing on AWS Cloud
  • Proficiency with AWS Services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda
  • Strong SQL Skills for Data Transformation and Analytics
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Expertise in Setting up and Managing CI/CD Pipelines with Jenkins
