Automation Engineer

As an automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation frameworks for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications using Playwright or Cypress.

  • Design and develop automation frameworks for end-to-end testing of mobile and web applications.
  • Develop scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  • Write clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
  • Conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios if the tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools Postman, JMeter, etc.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
