About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned design leader to spearhead the transformation of our digital news platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth through strategic design thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a design vision that enhances user engagement and retention.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create user experiences that simplify complex information hierarchies.
  • Lead the transformation of our design team into an AI-native organization, leveraging cutting-edge design tools and methodologies.
  • Establish design systems and processes that scale across web, mobile apps, social media, and newsletters.
  • Drive data-informed design decisions through user research and analytics.
  • Present design strategies and outcomes to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in digital product design, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in consumer-facing digital product companies (preferably content platforms, media, or high-traffic applications).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UI/UX excellence and strategic design thinking.
  • Expertise in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and proficiency in AI-powered design tools.
  • Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions.
