Cloud Services Engineer

Job Overview

The Cloud Services Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.

  • Responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of various technology solutions leveraging the full suite of Microsoft Azure resources.
  • Support and manage Office 365 users & Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration.
  • Support and manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Environments.
  • Support and manage Active Directory 2019 and newer.
  • Support and manage key services including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, File Services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the support of servers and operating systems Windows 2019 and above.
  • Understanding of Veeam or other Backup and Replication technologies.
  • Working knowledge of VLANs, IPSEC Tunnels and Protocols, Virtual Networks, and Routing & Switching.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.
  • Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.

  • Monitoring & Alerting Platforms.
  • Asset Management: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager & System Center Operations Manager.
  • Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune.
  • Microsoft Windows Server Management & Hyper-V Clusters.

About This Role:

  • Ability to collaborate with Cybersecurity in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, patient zero, and assist with threat remediation.
