Sales & Marketing Role Summary:

This role focuses on product selection, quotes, tendering, and order acquisition activities through close collaboration with customers, sales teams, operations, and other stakeholders to meet booking targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer inquiries and requests for quotations to establish an initial understanding of their requirements.

• Build a deeper understanding of customer needs through liaison and discussion.

• Determine the key objectives and possible options to be covered in the proposal, coordinating the supply of necessary information, organizing various estimates, and defining the scope of supply.

• Review P&ID and project specifications to arrive at the Bill of materials for every component in the dosing skids, considering Piping material specification, valve material specification, instrument specifications, inspection, and quality requirements for the complete technical requirements of the customer.

• Partner with Engineering, Commercial, and Project Managers as necessary to evaluate technical risk and commercial terms.

• Prepare RFQs for suppliers/subcontractors against specs and T&Cs.

• Compile comprehensive tender specifications defining prices, commercial conditions, comments, and deviations, and technical specifications for presentation to the customer.

• Support Sales Manager/Sector Managers/Sales Engineers during the bid-process.

• Serve as the focal point for customer queries regarding Proposal submission, aiming to reach agreement and build a positive ongoing relationship.

• Monitor Proposal progress and status, maintaining accurate records and keeping the Proposals Manager informed at all times.

• Support the Project team during handover of Proposals that have resulted in orders.

• Maintain internal Quality systems relevant to the processing of enquiries and Proposals.

• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management policies and procedures in all work undertaken.

Qualifications and Key Competencies:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 8-15 years' experience in Proposals and estimation, preferably in similar industrial products.

• P&ID understanding.

• Instrument knowledge (Transmitters, Gauges, Switches, JB etc.).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Drive results and take initiatives to achieve goals.

• Good relationship builder with the ability to merge different groups of people, processes, and tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
