Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Ops Support Engineer and be part of our mission to deliver practical, effective solutions that drive tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive Monitoring: Engage in regular monitoring of IT systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, including configuration files and system logs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience in operations or support roles within IT. You should also possess strong working knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in shell scripting and Python for automation and monitoring tasks.
  • Experience with Terraform along with ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
  • CI Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins and continuous integration practices.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and Bitbucket for version control.
  • Monitoring Tools: Proficient in using Grafana for system monitoring and alerting.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiar with Scrum and Agile practices for team collaboration.
  • Microservices Understanding: Collaborate effectively within a microservices architecture to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Release Management Tools: Experience utilizing software release management tools such as JIRA.
