Job Title: Textile Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented textile designer to join our in-house design team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in print design with prior experience in an export house, specifically in the bedsheet category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trend-forward print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories (e.g., curtains, cushions, table linens).
  • Translate global and domestic trends into commercial designs suited for the retail market.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output by coordinating with production and vendors.
  • Drive innovation in design through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Prepare presentations and approvals materials such as mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats.
  • Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs.

Requirements:

  • 1.5 – 2 years of hands-on experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
  • Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
  • Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Degree in Textile/Fashion Design from a reputed design institution is preferred.
