Financial Operations Manager

Job Role:
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance and reporting functions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting entries in the system (Tally/ERP/SAP/Oracle)
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor payments and customer receipts
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily fund positions
- Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and MIS reports
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and payments
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and statutory purposes
- Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits
- Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting
- Assist in fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related schedules
- Reconcile ledgers and identify discrepancies
- Prepare data for tax computation and filing
- Monitor compliance timelines and ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com/M.Com or Semi-qualified CA
- Freshers/2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS
- Strong MS Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines
