  • The Associate will work in coordination with the department staff and team managers to manage day-to-day operations with ease.
  • Responsible for addressing and escalating operational issues alongside co-associates, AVP, and VPs within Asset Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management
    • Effectively manage team members.
    • Develop strong engagement through Training Need Analysis.
    • Conduct regular staff performance appraisals.
    • Engage staff in org initiatives.
  • Process Management
    • Build a mechanism to handle volume peaks during peak season.
    • Identify operational risks proactively and mitigate appropriately.
    • Sound knowledge of Corporate Actions, Mandatory, Voluntary, Income Processing, Fixed Income, redemptions, proxy, class action.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in investment banking operations or custody operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop strong working relationships with internal and external client groups.
  • Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders and complex situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
