Job Description

As a Resiliency Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing resiliency-focused testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Performing stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Analyzing test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to technical teams.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on test failures and collaborating with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.
  • Monitoring system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements.
Required Skills
  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
