Job Overview:

To be successful as a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations with precision and attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and building robust reporting systems to support the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly MIS reports for internal and external review. Develop and track budgets, forecasts, and working capital models to inform business decisions.
  • Accounting & Compliance: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including vendor payments and receivables management. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and coordinate audit processes.
  • Cash Flow & Expense Management: Analyze and manage cash flow, burn rate, and fund utilization to optimize financial performance. Partner with external vendors for reconciliation, payroll, and expense management.
  • Business Strategy Support: Work closely with founders and operational teams to derive actionable insights from financial data. Provide strategic input on pricing, commission modeling, and key business KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Hold a CA qualification or equivalent. Possess 3-6 years of relevant experience in high-growth startups or financial services. Excel skills are essential; experience with Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work accurately and improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
