Job Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to assist in the coordination and management of projects from planning to execution. This role ensures timely completion within budget.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Scheduling Management: Monitor and update the master construction schedule, ensuring it aligns with agreements made with contractors.
  • Activity Sequencing: Manage sequencing of activities, ensuring that timelines and project phases are met according to the plan.
Project Governance Coordination
  • Establish Governance Frameworks: Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to ensure smooth execution.
  • Change Control Process: Manage the change control process to ensure adherence to project scope and minimize scope creep.
Procurement Resource Management
  • Guidance on Procurement: Provide guidance on procurement, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation.
  • Long-lead Item Coordination: Coordinate long-lead item procurement and material deliveries to prevent project delays.
Financial Estimation Management
  • Project Financial Oversight: Monitor project finances and collaborate with financial departments to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Cost Estimates: Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, ensuring all documents are complete and quantities are correct.
Project Reporting Documentation
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and distribute formal project progress reports, ensuring key stakeholders are updated.
  • Meeting Minutes: Send agenda and Meeting Minutes (MOM) promptly to all concerned parties.
Design Coordination Space Optimization
  • Space Optimization: Conduct test fits and layouts to optimize space utilization for clients, considering design requirements.
  • Design Phase Alignment: Ensure that design and construction phases are aligned, and design changes are incorporated into the overall schedule.
