Backend Engineer - Scalable API Design

We're seeking an exceptional Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you'll design and develop highly scalable APIs that power our cutting-edge AI solutions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing backend systems that serve as the foundation for our AI teammates
  • Creating blazing-fast APIs using Node.js/Type Script
  • Modeling and optimizing data in Postgre SQL
  • Implementing queuing and streaming systems for reliable event-driven workflows
  • Driving API architecture for high-scale use cases
  • Building robust CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments to cloud platforms

You'll work closely with our ML and frontend teams to expose backend capabilities cleanly and efficiently. If you have experience with Python, especially for ML-related integrations, it's a strong advantage.

Requirements
  • 4–6 years of backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing APIs for scale
  • Deep expertise in Node.js + Type Script; strong grasp of async patterns and modern frameworks
  • Solid experience with Postgre SQL (schema design, performance tuning, transactions) and at least one caching system (Redis/Memcached)
  • Familiarity with queuing/streaming platforms (Kafka/NATS/Rabbit MQ)
  • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, concurrency, and API performance tuning
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, and CI/CD workflows
