Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to fill the role of Senior Executive Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including network availability, server performance, and system uptime.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and user requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Implement and manage software deployment, updates, and patching across systems.
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of wired and wireless networks, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security.
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.
  • Oversee data backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Administer and support key applications, including Learning Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Student Information Systems, and other academic/administrative software.
  • Administer and maintain email services.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot audio and video systems in classrooms, conference rooms, and auditoriums.
  • Provide dedicated support for internal and external events.
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect university data and systems from threats.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness among users.
  • Lead or assist in the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
  • Generate regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and project progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
  • Proven experience working in an educational environment is an advantage.

Desirable Skills:

  • Relevant industry certifications.
  • Experience with ITIL framework or other IT service management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
  • Working knowledge of MAC PCs will be an advantage.
