Contract Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to fill this role. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools.

You will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to identify test requirements, develop test cases, and implement test automation solutions. Additionally, you will analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.

This is a tele-working opportunity based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can bring their expertise in automation testing to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Standard Test Scenarios: Collaborate with product management, development, and delivery teams to create standard test scenarios.
  • Run Tests: Execute tests on various application components and features to identify and resolve functional and technical issues.
  • Design Test Cases: Design test scenarios to ensure 100% requirement coverage; prepare and maintain test cases, report defects, and manage the overall testing process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree / BE/B.Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Testing Knowledge: Strong knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Automation Testing Experience: Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
