Relay Engineer

As a Relay Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and commissioning control and relay panels up to 765kV. You will also test and commission protection relays and schemes for MV and HV applications such as feeder, transformer, distance, generator, line differential, bus bar, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and Commissioning of Control & Relay Panels up to 765kV
  • Configuration, Parametrization, Goosing, Interoperability, and Integration with Scada
  • Creation of Data Sets, RCBs, and Tagging of Signals
  • Retrofitting and Troubleshooting: Retrofitting of Protection IED, Trouble Shooting, and Replacement of CRP
  • Hands-on Operating Knowledge of Secondary Injection Test Kits like Omicron, Doble, Ponovo, ISA, etc., and Auto Testing Methods like OCC, State Sequencing, Distance, and Differential Characteristics Test
  • Preparation of Commissioning Documents: SAT, Test Reports, Commissioning Schedule Plans, and MOM
  • Planning and Execution of Training Courses and Customer Presentations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Electrical or Electronics with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the relevant area
  • Strong Communication Skills in Verbal and Written for Customer Interaction
  • Adaptive and Eager to Learn and Work on New Things/Technologies
  • Innovative, Self-Driven, and Disciplined
  • Analytical Ability and Problem-Solving Skills

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects and develop your skills further. If you have experience with DIGSI-4, DIGSI-5, Reydisp, and S1 Agile, it's a definite advantage. Additionally, if you have worked on international projects, have knowledge of process bus technology, and basic knowledge of networking and communication protocols, it will be beneficial.
