As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth through effective procurement strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Daily Tasks

  • You will be responsible for vendor management, which includes building and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers, as well as identifying new suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Inventory control is another critical aspect of this role, where you will ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet demand, while minimizing waste and unnecessary stockpiling.
  • Collaboration with various departments will also be essential, as you work closely with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Sourcing suppliers and negotiating contracts to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  2. Analyzing market trends to stay ahead of the competition and make informed purchasing decisions.
  3. Preparing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and reports to track procurement activity and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis skills.
  • Market research, data analysis, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
