**Job Title:** Artificial Intelligence Innovator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development of various artificial intelligence initiatives aimed at improving patient health and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and customers to understand their pain points and design large-scale solutions to address them. This includes defining technical architectures to productize machine-learning algorithms and taking them to market through partnerships with different organizations.

To achieve this, the AI Innovator will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems into machine learning problems and design solution workflows. Additionally, they will need to collaborate with our data platform and applications team to integrate data science capabilities into existing products and workflows.

Another key responsibility will be to work with development teams to build tools for repeatable data tasks that accelerate and automate the development cycle. The AI Innovator will also define and execute on quarterly roadmaps to drive progress and innovation in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • At least 7 years of experience in data science, with a strong background in healthcare an added advantage
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Python, including building enterprise applications and optimization techniques
  • Experience with deep learning techniques, including NLP and computer vision models, as well as state-of-the-art GenAI pipelines
  • Proven track record of deploying deep learning models in production at scale, with expertise in at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Keen interest in research and staying up-to-date with advancements in AI and ML
  • Deep understanding of classical ML techniques, including Random Forests, SVM, Boosting, and Bagging
  • Experience with global and local model explainability using LIME, SHAP, and associated techniques
  • Hands-on experience with at least one ML platform, such as Databricks, Azure ML, or Sagemaker
