Job Title: Assistant Compliance Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting onsite inspections of members and joint inspections with regulatory bodies: Timely completion of inspections as per targets (Average 5-6 inspections per month)
  • Creating awareness amongst members regarding mandatory compliance requirements: Sharing best practices with members to ensure effective implementation
  • Preparation & Verification of Inspection reports and checklists. Submission of Data to Exchange post inspection and correctness of Data/information between checklist and Report:
  • Visit / inspection of Authorized Persons of Members
  • Maintaining Member Compliance Records

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively implement and maintain compliance policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant (CMA)
  2. Total Experience: 5-8 years, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in broking/exchange/financial institution operation

Functional Competencies required:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Industry Standards and Regulations
  • Knowledge of current accounting and audit principles, policies and internal controls

  • Excellent written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and investigating skills
  • Time management and result orientation
  • Process adherence and orientation

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving compliance goals.
