Job Summary:

The role of Indirect Tax Professional requires a strong background in indirect taxation, particularly in GST, Service Tax, and VAT laws. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in handling compliances and litigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a wide range of GST related assignments, including retainership, compliances, tax reviews, GST audit, departmental audits, and scrutiny.
  • Preparation of submissions/replies to various tax notices, drafting appeals, and representation before revenue authorities.
  • Foster client engagement by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues within agreed timelines, and working closely with the support team.
  • Ensure timely execution of deliverables, both technical and non-technical.
  • Help junior team members develop through supervising, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Offer guidance and consultation on GST matters to clients, providing insights on tax implications related to new business deals and other relevant scenarios.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CA/Lawyer with 5-6 years working experience specifically in indirect tax domain.
  • Hands-on experience for complex GST technical review and advisory.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and guide/motivate others.
  • Independent in managing own workload with limited available resources, ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Working knowledge of ERP packages (Tally, MS Office), advanced MS Excel, and excellent communication/drafting skills.
  • Business Development skills.
