Job Summary:

A data-driven organization seeks a skilled Data Engineer and Business Intelligence Specialist to support enterprise-wide data initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and reporting solutions, focusing on scalability, quality, and performance.

The successful candidate will be proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, capable of building scalable data pipelines while developing high-quality dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
  • Implement data models tailored for reporting, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers.
  • Ensure reports and dashboards adhere to governance, security, and performance best practices.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
  • Collaborate with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS (ETL development).
  • Knowledge of data modeling principles.
  • Experience working in global teams.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
