Job Overview:

The role of Research and Development Engineer involves applying knowledge of medical device regulations, executing gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of research and development engineering to drive product innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals through effective communication and technical reviews.
  • Prepare 2D/3D drawings/models for assemblies and components, ensuring compliance with ASME standards and expertise in GD&T.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis to resolve design and process issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Creo and Solid Works (drafting and modeling), with hands-on experience in PLM/PDM preferably Windchill.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills for effective collaboration with global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Device Experience
  • Knowledge of electronics, cable, connectors, PCBA manufacturing methods.
