Device Driver Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Device Driver Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing device drivers for complex SoCs, with a strong understanding of operating systems and microprocessor architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality device drivers for Linux/Android platforms, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test device drivers, ensuring seamless integration with other system components.
  • Leverage expertise in embedded system software development to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Maintain and improve existing device drivers, resolving issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Participate in board bring-up activities, ensuring timely and successful deployment of new devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant standards to drive innovation and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3–15 years of experience in Linux/Android device driver development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in embedded system software development, including device drivers and board support packages (BSPs) for complex SoCs.
  • Strong experience in at least one of the following areas: multimedia IP drivers, system IP drivers, memory device drivers, or related protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with board bring-up activities, version control tools like GIT, and development workflow tools like JIRA.
  • Good understanding of operating systems like QNX, Linux, and other RTOSs, as well as microprocessors/microcontrollers/ARM MPU architectures.
