We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Deputy Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payments and deductions, monitoring approvals from stakeholders, and ensuring timely closure of tactics post payments.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in Finance/Sales, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work through large data sets. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and prioritization skills.

This role requires a proactive, responsive, and results-driven individual who is highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage payment processing and reconciliation, monitor approval timeliness
  • Perform invoice analysis, breakdown by segmentation, and ensure timely tactic closure and trade spend management
  • Communicate risks and opportunities to sales teams, control, and finance
  • Validate tactic pricing against pricing grids for accrual discrepancies and invoices
  • Track payments and funding for vendors
  • Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with internal teams (sales, finance, and control)
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment delivery in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Implement process improvements, standardize reporting, and optimize technology use
Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of experience in Finance/Sales
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce/business administration/marketing or finance; master's degree preferred
  • Prior FMCG company experience beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills, good data skills, and ability to work with large data sets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, responsive, and results-driven
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
