Job Description

As a senior finance executive, you will oversee the financial strategy, controls, and compliance functions of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms.

The ideal candidate will have progressive finance experience in fintech or payments companies, with a comprehensive grasp of digital asset accounting and treasury operations. They will be responsible for managing statutory and regulatory audits, as well as ensuring robust financial operations and meeting regulatory obligations.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the company.
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Develop internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and technology teams to build a future-proof finance function in a crypto-native environment.
  • Design crypto-specific financial reporting models.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations.
  • Evaluate financial and operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance experience in fintech or payments companies.
  • Fair understanding of crypto markets, blockchain transactions, and digital asset accounting.
  • Comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Crypto payment or infrastructure space.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing.
  • Exposure to UAE tax accounting and cross-border payments framework.
