Product Design Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Product Design Manager to lead our digital retail product design vision.

You will drive seamless, engaging, and accessible experiences for consumers by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

This role requires a leader who can optimize design operations, leverage data insights, and guide a team of designers to deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Strategy: Develop and execute the design strategy for digital retail solutions across multiple brands.
  • User-Centered Design: Promote user-centered design principles, ensuring our solutions meet consumer needs.
  • UI Design: Oversee the creation of high-fidelity UI designs, interaction models, and design system components.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between engineering, product, and marketing teams to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions.
  • User Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Design Best Practices: Establish and maintain design best practices, ensuring high-quality output with a focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Team Growth: Mentor and coach a team of designers, cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Operations & Planning:
  • Process Efficiency: Streamline design workflows and processes for efficiency.
  • Metrics Tracking: Define and track business and product metrics to measure design impact.
People Management & Team Growth:
  • Team Building: Build and nurture a high-performing design team.
  • Growth Pathways: Define growth paths, review processes, and quality benchmarks.
Product/Project Management:
  • Project Delivery: Ensure end-to-end delivery of projects with a structured design approach.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design success.

Preferred Skills:

  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Complex Platform Experience: Experience working on complex B2C platforms.
  • Service Design Understanding: Understanding of service design methodologies as a complementary skill.
  • Front-End Development Knowledge: Knowledge of front-end development principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.
