Faculty Position in Psychology

We invite applications for a faculty position in psychology at our university.

Job Requirements
  • A Ph.D. degree with a first-class master's degree in psychology and ten years of experience in teaching, research, industry, or profession as a professor/associate professor/reader or equivalent grade;
  • OR In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
  • A first-class master's degree in psychology and significant professional work recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate branch and industrial/professional experience of ten years at a senior level comparable to associate professor/reader;
  • Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books, and/or technical reports;
  • Experience of guiding project work, dissertation of postgraduate or research students, or supervising R&D projects in industry;
  • Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored R&D, consultancy, and related activities.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial, and/or professional activities;
  • Evidence of service to the university, the profession, and the community;
  • Evidence of curriculum development.

Key responsibilities include: teaching, research, and industry/consultancy services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for education and research.
