Job Title: Mobile Architect

Job Summary:

As a Mobile Architect at Techwave, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge mobile applications, with a focus on creating accessible and inclusive solutions. Your expertise in ReactNative will be essential in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, ensuring that all products meet ADA compliance and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define and design the overall architecture of mobile applications, ensuring they meet business requirements, security standards, and are scalable and accessible.
* Lead the development team in building applications using ReactNative
* Ensure that all mobile applications comply with ADA guidelines and accessibility standards, incorporating features like screen reader support, colour contrast, and alternative input methods.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices, including accessibility best practices.
* Work with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications that prioritize accessibility.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, with a focus on accessibility.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and accessibility standards, and evaluate their potential integration into projects.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, development processes, and accessibility compliance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile development, with an emphasis on accessibility challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in mobile development with a strong focus on ReactNative. 4 years only for architect.
* Expertise in ReactNative development Proficient in mobile architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices. Experience with Java, Objective-C type of applications. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards. Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data privacy regulations.
* Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility guidelines (WCAG). Experience implementing accessibility features in mobile applications.
* Proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications. Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Leadership and mentorship capabilities. Ability to lead and mentor development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
* Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
* Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
* Understanding of cloud services and backend integration.
* Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
