About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to lead our Axon Mobile team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile engineering, with experience in leading teams and architecting large-scale mobile applications. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Zeta to deliver multiple mobile applications and build multiple mobile SDKs that will be used by different business mobile teams. You will work with an amazing peer group that fuels this ambition and take up initiatives that will create a lasting impact on millions of individuals across various countries.

Responsibilities
  • Architect super configurable mobile SDKs that are written in native but are server-controlled
  • Build a suite of Mobile Backend services that will control the SDK distribution and mobile configurations
  • Develop a framework to let mobile developers build their mobile screens on multiple stacks - native, server-driven, web, react-native, flutter, ionic, etc.
  • Expertise in security - cryptography, encrypted secure storage, mobile security to power our super-secure payments originating from mobile devices
  • Manage a team of 8-12 engineers and provide ongoing leadership, set objectives, review performances, define growth plans, and nurture
  • Drive best practices and agile methodologies/practices - SCRUM, Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules across ongoing projects, ensure that resources are appropriately allocated and timelines are met in accordance with the project roadmaps
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering (computer science, information systems)
  • 8+ years of experience building enterprise systems including at least 2 years of direct people management experience
  • Worked on large-scale mobile applications with a good understanding of mobile stack
