Tapeout Specialist

We are seeking a Tapeout Specialist to collaborate with customers on tooling and manage the critical tapeout process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tapeouts that meet customer requirements.

• Collaborate with customers to understand their tapeout needs and develop customized solutions.
• Convert GDSII files to MEBES format for mask fabrication, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Execute Design Rule Checks (DRC) to ensure manufacturing compliance.
• Run Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) verifications and adjust layouts as necessary.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth tapeout releases.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of tapeout workflows.
• Ensure timely completion of all tapeout deliverables.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with GDSII, MEBES formats, and conversion processes.
• Strong knowledge and experience with DRC and OPC tools.
• Familiarity with semiconductor foundry tapeout flows and methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, TCL) for automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers and teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
