Senior Data Migration Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of data migration activities across all project phases: extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration Planning & Strategy:
    • Develop the overall data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Execution & Delivery:
    • Lead the execution of data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
    • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the data migration process.
  • Documentation and Support:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ yrs of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and BAAN.
  • Experience with data migration tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
