Design Innovator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Creation:
  • Develop innovative silhouettes, focusing on western and fusion wear.
  • Create seasonal collections in line with fashion trends and brand aesthetics.
  • Design detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw.
  • Source and experiment with fabrics, trims, and embellishments for both western and fusion styles.
  • Product Realization:
  • Translate design concepts into samples with the team.
  • Ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage meet quality and cost standards.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and production teams for smooth execution.
  • Market Insight:
  • Stay updated with global and Indian trends in western and fusion fashion.
  • Analyze competitor collections and contribute ideas for differentiation.
  • Brand Identity:
  • Maintain a consistent identity: modern yet rooted in premium quality and detail.
  • Ensure every design reflects elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Software proficiency: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw (must have strong command).
  • Fabric knowledge: Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends, and their drapes.
  • Design expertise: Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
  • Strong visualization, sketching, and digital illustration skills.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with creativity and precision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • Portfolio of previous work (required).
