Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, updating supplier reconciliation portals, and preparing AP reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with vendors for payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update the supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Collaborate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals.
  • Prepare weekly AP reports and process vendor payments and allocations in books.
  • Review vendor reconciliations performed by AA.
  • Chase W9 forms from vendors and prepare 1099 workings.
  • Reconcile tax returns.
  • Review sales entries on a weekly basis.
  • Review sales tax and prompt tax working files and prepare use tax calculations.
  • Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner (within 48 hours).
  • Deliver AP reports to clients in a timely fashion.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials) on time.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Commerce degree and have excellent interpersonal skills. They should also have effective English communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under stringent deadlines.
