Building Information Modeling Manager

This position is pivotal in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance the design, planning, and execution of construction projects.

  • Lead the development and management of BIM models for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • Utilize advanced modeling tools like Tekla to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of construction modeling projects.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
