Job Title: Financial Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee all financial aspects of our company, providing strategic guidance and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives
    • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
    • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team
    • Drive financial modeling for business initiatives and investments
  • Financial Operations & Management
    • Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance
    • Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure optimization
  • Growth & Investment Management
    • Support fundraising activities and investor relations
    • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments
    • Oversee financial due diligence for business development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Previous CFO or similar C-level financial leadership experience
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Proven track record managing teams and driving organisational growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive experience in the IT services industry with deep understanding of project-based revenue recognition and billing modelsManaged services and subscription-based revenue streamsResource utilization metrics and project profitability analysisOffshore/onshore delivery model financialsTechnology infrastructure investments and depreciationBackground with high-growth or scaling IT services organisationsExperience managing financial operations across multiple geographiesKnowledge of IT industry regulatory requirements and compliance frameworksUnderstanding of technology talent acquisition costs and retention economicsFamiliarity with client contract structures including time & materials, fixed-price, and outcome-based pricingInternational finance experience, particularly in global IT delivery modelsExperience with M&A transactions in the technology sectorStrong investor relations background in technology companies
