Service Assurance Leadership Role

In this pivotal position, you will oversee the alignment of IT services with business objectives and ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) regulations. Your background in IT service management will enable you to drive the delivery of high-quality services across various locations.

Your key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations as the central liaison between outsourced service providers and internal functional teams. You will build strong relationships with vendors to maintain service levels, resolve issues promptly, and meet contractual commitments.

Additionally, you will align IT services with evolving business priorities, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing Service Improvement Plans (SIPs). Regular service reviews will be conducted with IT partners to assess performance, review risks, and drive customer satisfaction improvements.

You will lead on-site service teams, identify risks and issues in service delivery, and implement timely corrective actions. Furthermore, you will establish and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for internal and external IT services.

  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers
  • Oversee incident, problem, change management, and other ITIL processes
  • Facilitate audits and inspections by regulatory bodies related to IT systems and services

To succeed in this role, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with ITIL v4 certification. Experience in IT service delivery with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is preferred.

You will be an excellent leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and stakeholder management skills. A strong understanding of GxP regulations, system validation, and compliance frameworks is desirable.
