IT Auditing Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT auditor to join our team. As an IT auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our organization's IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in ITGC and SOC controls.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of audit findings into organizational processes.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain expertise in IT auditing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • 2+ years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting or compliance, focused on ITGC or SOC controls.
  • Ability to work well independently, within a team and with clients as well as travel ~40-50% (M-Th).
  • Maintains (preferred) or working towards obtaining least one certification relevant to Schellman's services (i.e. CPA, CCSK or CISA).
