Job Role: Financial Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced financial data analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for processing transactions, events, and data within a functional team.

This may involve time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks, requiring interaction with internal and external parties. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely, complete, and accurate transaction processing, including relevant controls, within your area of responsibility.

In addition, you will apply all internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations to agreed SLAs, KRIs, and KPIs, as well as quality measures. You will also build and maintain relationships with clients to provide a point of contact for time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely, complete, and accurate transaction processing, including relevant controls, within your area of responsibility.
  2. Apply all internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations to agreed SLAs, KRIs, and KPIs, as well as quality measures.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with clients to provide a point of contact for time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks.
  4. Provide input to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in response to changing client needs and market trends.
  5. Escalate operational, regulatory, and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate, contributing to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Relevant experience in specific technical areas, particularly reconciliations.
  2. Product and system knowledge in the relevant product line.
  3. Basic analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem-solving.
  4. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal) as appropriate.
  5. Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
