Job Overview:

This role entails leading a team of engineers in testing and refining our cloud storage technology.

About Our Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in testing storage systems, filesystems, or cloud infrastructure is required.
  • Hands-on expertise with Linux/Windows storage stacks and benchmarking tools (fio, vdbench) is essential.
  • A strong foundation in scripting skills (Java/Python/Bash/Go) and test automation experience is necessary.
  • Familiarity with kernel debugging (strace, eBPF, WinDbg) is desired.
  • Experience with cloud storage platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design tests to expose weaknesses in storage tiering, kernel interactions, and edge cases.
  2. Finding flaws early through shift-left testing, fault injection, fuzzing, and adversarial approaches.
  3. Automate chaos by building test frameworks to simulate filesystem corruption, kernel panics, and recovery scenarios.
  4. Pushing systems to fail by artificially inducing I/O storms, memory leaks, and resource starvation.
  5. Debugging deep issues at the kernel, filesystem, and block device layers.
