Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled engineer to lead the development and virtualization of sensor and actuator models for simulation environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Model Development:
    • Create high-fidelity plant models using Simulink or equivalent tools.
    • Design models for seamless integration into VHiL, HiL, SiL, and CoSim environments.
  • Data Collection & Analysis:
    • Lead data collection efforts from physical devices to validate model performance.
    • Analyze diagnostic responses and performance metrics to refine model behavior.
  • Testing & Validation:
    • Develop and execute test cases based on customer feedback and evolving model requirements.
    • Evaluate model robustness by incorporating vehicle calibration variations and real-world operating conditions.
  • Model Lifecycle Management:
    • Manage model updates including enhancements, release documentation, test coverage, and technical support.
    • Maintain traceability and version control across model updates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with suppliers, hardware, controls, and diagnostics teams to gather and align requirements.
    • Balance short-term and long-term modeling fidelity needs between in-house and supplier-based solutions.
    • Harmonize virtualization requirements across vehicle and propulsion domains.
  • Requirements Definition:
    • Define virtualization requirements for modeling, hardware, controls, and supplier ecosystems.
    • Translate calibration differences into robust model design strategies.
