About this Position:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Memory Layout Specialist to develop memory compilers layouts and Fast Cache instances layouts for next-generation Cores. This key member of our design team will play a critical role in achieving outstanding Performance, Power, and Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality memory compilers layouts and Fast Cache instances layouts for next-generation Cores
  • Create design rule-driven layouts that meet strict quality standards
  • Review schematics with engineers and propose changes based on layout implications
  • Explore floor planning options and suggest improvements
  • Verify SRAM/memory layouts creation and backend verifications including EMIR analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent field
  • Basic understanding of CMOS Transistors and their behaviors
  • Understanding of CMOS logic design and layout principles
  • Knowledge of Power versus Performance versus Area trade-offs in typical CMOS design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for circuit layouts
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRAM/memory layouts creation and backend verifications including EMIR analysis

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic scripting languages (e.g., Perl/Skill)
  • Experience working with Cadence or Synopsys flows
