We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Chemicals and Materials Global Practice team on a six-month contractual basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to drive project success, manage teams, and develop business relationships.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Guiding research processes and delivering high-quality reports
  • Overseeing the efforts of individual researchers and contributing to report writing
  • Developing and refining study scope, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables in collaboration with senior management
  • Driving team performance to complete studies successfully
  • Ensuring the content and quality of studies
  • Writing and reviewing reports for proprietary studies
  • Conducting analysis, developing appraisal, and preparing presentations and supporting documentation
  • Presenting findings to clients
  • Conducting primary interviews for critical insights and information as needed
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Assisting with business development meetings and presentations
  • Identifying enhancements to project deliverables and work processes
  • Developing junior staff in the practice

Requirements for this role include:

  • At least ten years of experience in consulting in the chemical industry
  • Experience in developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve results that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (preferably Chemical), or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
