Comprehensive Due Diligence Leader

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our medicines by leading thorough due diligence assessments.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence assessments to identify key opportunities, risks, and gaps that could impact patient safety.
  • Develop and address key focus topics to ensure a thorough understanding of potential issues.
  • Lead clinical line function assessments, documenting reasons for GO/NO GO decisions to proceed with confirmatory due diligence mandates.
  • Support the preparation of management decisions by providing scientific and technical expertise.
  • Coordinate SME team reviews, discussions, and recommendations, as well as SME team meetings.
  • Participate in on-site visits (if required).
  • Drive team recommendations based on an integrated view of GCD opportunities and prepare final leadership-approved assessments on behalf of GCD.
  • Elaborate comprehensive, accurate, and aligned clinical development plans and costs.
  • Evaluate internal and external budgets for potential opportunities covering all GCD line functions.
  • Present scientific and technical due diligence findings to GCD management.
  • Responsible for GCD due diligence reports.
  • Support the preparation of scientific deal reviews.
  • Update the GCD leadership team about the progress of ongoing due diligence activities.
Requirements:
  • Hold an MD or PhD, ideally combined with business management training, with at least 5 years of solid experience and background in biopharmaceutical clinical development.
  • Have extensive drug development expertise and experience in clinical development spanning across several therapeutic areas, including biosimilar development.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to integrate across functions and organizations to build collaborative relationships.
  • Be able to work in a global team and matrix structure organization.
  • Be well-organized, with excellent time management skills with respect to priorities and self-management.
  • Have excellent communication (written and verbal) coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be fluent in English (oral and written).
